The Technical University of Gdańsk Student`s Club "Kwadratowa" was established in 1961. Through decades it has been a place in which student`s culture evolved. Once famous for it`s Jazz venues in the `60s and `70s it also played a top role in the life of the University itself, hosting a number of shows, meetings, lectures as well as being one of the most important concert halls in northern Poland.
The building in which the Club is in is also a place for Student Organizations such as The Erasmus Student Network (ESN), International. Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IASTE), Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) and Student`s Parliament of The Technical University of Gdańsk (SSPG).
In November of 2004 a new, rebuilt and refreshed Club was officially opened by it`s new owner - The Rector of The Technical University of Gdańsk prof. Janusz Rachoń.
Out mission is to fulfill students free time by being a place in which the best parties and concerts take place. Over a 1000 square metres let our guests relax, our gastronomy provides a number of cheap dishes. There`s also the possibility to play pool, darts, watch tv and simply enjoy leisure time in fellow student`s company.

Club`s rules apply (i.e. adult - 18 years old - among which only students, employees and graduates of Universities are allowed to enter on thursday`s, friday`s and saturday`s parties - each allowed to bring one guest from the outside) and due to the narrowed range of customer groups we do assure a climate strictly for the academic community focusing on safety, good prices, selected company and simply much fun!
